R: Elwess Perdita, maternal sister to Rahzel. Really stylish heifer, calved at 24 months, again with a great udder and plenty of milk.

UPDATE - Elwess Pumba has been SOLD to Mallowburn Herefords. His first outing was at Nottinghamshire Show, where he was awarded Reserve Male Champion in the Hereford class. He went on to take the Male Championship, Junior Championship and Reserve Supreme in the Any Other Native Breed class at the Lincolnshire Show 2018. He is a solid, easy-fleshing bull, well grown for his age with great shape and fantastic temperament. Weighed 720kg at 15m old.

All other 2017-born bulls have been sold.

HEREFORD FEMALES FOR SALE

All of our 2020 heifers have been sold, including some to two new local pedigree herds. We wish their new owners the very best of luck with them, and hope to see a few on the show circuit next year!

2016 yearling bulls - SOLD
All nine of our 2015-born pedigree Hereford bulls have been sold to run on dairy heifers. We have had reports of strong, easy-born calves arriving this spring.

April 2015 - SOLD
Elwess Lea and Elwess Lincoln have been sold to Tom and Catherine Rawson of Evolution Farming, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, for use on their dairy heifers.

24 months old, registered pedigree Hereford bull. Good breeding lines, pedigree information here. Sire Whartonspool Glinka Dam: Dovemount Lady Lynda V23. Sire has Canadian blood. Nice shape, great topline, dark colour, quiet temperament, easy calving. Progeny eligible for native breed schemes.

Sold to J Atkinson, Nibthwaite Grange Farm www.dodgsonwood.co.uk for use on his beef suckler herd.

Elwess 1 Jenson AI (P) - SOLD
A smashing young bull, great shape and lovely dark liver colour. Jenson is by Sollpoll 1 Ferrari, out of Dovemount Melanie B16. He was retained for use on our heifers, and sold to G. Starling, Market Rasen in May 2013.
